Dreams

A Dying Wish

Reece Fleming had a mock wedding just before he died.In July 2004, four year old Reece Fleming was diagnosed with leukemia.

In May 2008, the disease worsened and Reece was told that he only had weeks to live.

One of Reece's dreams was to marry his 'special friend', Elleanor Purgslove.

Reece proposed to Elleanor at a laser tag party and his family arranged a pretend wedding where Reece and Eleanor could imagine being married.

They hired a limosine, had wedding rings, a fake priest, certificates and a fancy dinner afterwards.

Although Reece was very sick at the time, he had never been happier than on that day.

Dreaming

Dreams are important at night and in the day!Zig Ziglar once spoke about an experiment that was done to determine how important dreams are for us.

Scientists tested several volunteers in the following way. Each rested and fell asleep. Just as they were about to enter a state of dreaming, they were woken up. They were then allowed to return to sleep.

After one day of this experiment, the volunteers were irritable. After two days, they became depressed. After three days, some were in a state where they needed psychological attention. It was at this stage that the experiment was stopped due to concerns regarding the wealth fare of the participants.

The conclusion of this experiment was that we all need dreams when we are sleeping.
