Persistance

Mark Beaumont, a British cyclist, is motivated by being the fastest and being the best.

Last Friday, Mark completed his goal of cycling around the world solo. He completed this is just 195 days, which is a new world record and has replaced the previous one of 276 days.

However, Mark's journey has not been without incident. He has had to endure floods, road rage and also being knocked off of his bike by an elderly motorist who drove through a red light. However, Mark's persistence and determination has caused him to succeed.
