My name is Mohammed Ali and I founded Lifejewel.com in November 2003.

Many people ask me how I got the idea for Lifejewel.com and how it all began. They also ask me what I plan to achieve with Lifejewel.com and how I see Lifejewel.com developing in the future. I will try my best to provide a background history and a vision statement for the future in the words that follow.

Lifejewel.com was born out of a long conversation I had with my friend Will. In this conversation, we discussed many things from religion to physics to literature. As our conversation ended, we reflected upon how difficult it is to find true meaning and value in life and, more importantly, how rewarding it is when we finally find it.

It was following this conversation that I made a self-promise that I would create a web-site that is dedicated to finding meaning and value in life. Lifejewel.com was born from this and since then, the Lifejewel.com newsletter is sent daily to people from every walk of life (from Students to Politicians to Sportsmen) on every continent on Earth.

My aim is to make Lifejewel.com the Number 1 Personal Development and Self-Help Web-site on the Internet. I intend to make it a resourceful and easy to use web-site that contains articles that are rich with wisdom, practicality and applicability. Lifejewel.com is becoming a web-site where people can find answers to many of life’s great questions and I am proud to be making it such a powerful and useful resource.
