Yesterday's Victories

Reflect back on all of your previous successes. It is very easy to get caught up in life and to forget where we are, where we are coming from and where we are going to.

It is very easy to get tangled up in life's problems and struggles and forget about your own true worth and your dreams.

Throughout life, it is crucial to keep a sense of perspective. It is vital to know just how much you are growing and achieving.

Take some time to think back over your life and to remember all the goals that you achieved and the dreams that have been fulfilled?

Have you found a person to love? Have you found a job that challenges you? Have you won friends who support you?

All too often in life, we sell ourselves short because we forget about our own true value.

It is only by looking back at the past and all the victories already achieved that you can realise just how successful you have become already and, more importantly, how easy it is to succeed even more.

One of the biggest problems that we all face is that we remember our failures more than we remember our successes. The result of this is that in our mind, we form a negative self-image that causes us to settle for less in life than we deserve. By nature, we tend to focus more on our weaknesses and inferiorities than our strengths. To do is to sell yourself short. To do this is to be ungrateful of all the blessings you hold. Take some time to write down all of your past victories, no matter how small. Take time in reveling in your own truth wealth and refer to this list every morning and every night for the next week. How will it feel then?
