The Power of Thought

Everything is first created in the mind. There is a wise saying that states the following simple rule:

“You become what you think about most of the time.”

Upon contemplation, this statement reveals a much deeper meaning.

This is because regardless of how someone thinks of something, this will manifest itself in his or her life.

A prime example of this can be seen with eating. People who think a lot about food, often tend to be either very hungry or overweight.

Even if they want to go on a diet, they change their physical eating habits, but it is always short-lived as their thoughts are dominated by food.

This is just one example, but it can be applied to anything from money to health to spirituality and it holds true for even the smallest things.

If one understands the power of thought and how it can influence what manifests itself in life, anything is possible.

Everything is created twice, first in the mind and then in reality. Many people create the worst-case scenario in their mind, hoping to avoid it. To do this is to plan your own downfall. It is important to create a positive image as this will then create itself in reality. Take some time to evaluate what you think about most of the time. Does this manifest itself in reality?
