True Value

No matter what happens to us in life, we still retain our orignal value. One day, a teacher stood before his class and taught them an important lesson.

The teacher pulled out a crisp $20 note and asked his students how much this note was worth.

The students all replied that the note was worth $20.

The teacher then dropped the $20 note on the floor and began to step on it, until the note became tattered.

'How much is this note now worth?' The teacher asked his students.

'It is still worth $20!' They all replied.

The teacher then told the students the meaning of this lesson. He taught them that even in the hardest times, your value is still the same.

When people feel great, they often say that they feel like a million dollars. However, when they feel dejected and unsure, they say that they feel like nothing. Which one of these is true? In truth, our value is always the same. Whether we feel like a million dollars or nothing, our true value remains unchanged. Knowing this, why not choose to feel like a million dollars today?
