What would you do if you had only one year to live?

Where would you go? Who would you meet? What would you do?

In the book, Find Your Purpose by Richard Jacobs, Richard talks about a friend who was in a very difficult situation.

A former partner of his had contracted Aids and he thought that he might have too. If he had, he would have a maximum of one year to live.

On the same day that he came back from being tested, he made a decision. He realised that if he did have only one year to live, he would live it well. He would do everything that he possibly could.

Fortunately, when the results came through, he did not have Aids.

However, he did live that year as if it might be his last and did most of the things on his list.

Why not try the same exercise that Richard's friend did. Imagine that you only have a year to live. What are all the things you want to do? What are all of the places you want to visit? Who do you want to meet? Our lives are short and there is so much that we all want to do. Live a life full of pleasant memories and moments, not one full of regrets.
