Tithing

The world-famous investor, Sir John Templeton, is a strong believer in tithing.

He once said that he does not know anybody who had consistently given away 10% of their income to charity for at least 10 years to have received this much back, ten-fold.

Templeton believes that when you reach out to help others financially, you invariably get back much more than you put in.

Templeton advises us all to give away at least 10 per cent of our income to charity and to helping people that we value.

He states that many people say that they will start to give when they have a bigger income. Templeton argues that if you cannot give a small amount from a small income, how will you be able to give a bigger amount from a bigger income?
