Putting Your Fans First

Ricky Hatton wants to be remembered as a People's ChampionRicky Hatton is one of the best boxers in the world.

Having one six world titles over two weight divisions, Ricky can easily be the top bill fighter at any boxing event.

Recently, however, Ricky has turned down a big money offer to fight in America. In stead, he will have his next fight in Manchester.

The reason that Ricky has done this is so that the fight is at a suitable time for his British fans to watch and support him, as opposed to being shown at 2 am where most will not.

Ricky explained his reasoning behind this by saying the following: "It's for the fans that have supported me from day one back in England, Great Britain and Manchester, who probably thought maybe they had lost the chance to see me fight again here live."

Ricky says that his ultimate goal is to become a fan's favourite and a people's champion.

By putting his fans before a lucrative offer to fight in America, he is proving that he already is.
